My interest in law firm business began as a journalist at The American Lawyer and evolved through more than two decades of experience in legal marketing and business development. I've held senior in-house roles in Am Law 100 and 200 firms and now advise firms as a consultant, bringing a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on support. My work spans branding, business development, communications, and process improvement—always with a focus on results.
I believe that marketing and business development teams should match the level of talent and intensity of the lawyers they support. Strategy matters, but so does follow-through—and I bring both. I’m performance-minded, detail-oriented, and at my best in high-expectation environments. I help firms sharpen their communications, elevate their presence, and stay ahead of client needs in a competitive legal market.
I partner with law firms in flexible, practical ways—whether stepping in to lead key initiatives or supporting internal teams during moments of transition or opportunity. I adapt quickly, assess what’s needed, and work collaboratively to get things done. While I’m a solo consultant, I frequently work alongside other marketing and business development consultants, PR firms, and design agencies to deliver cohesive, high-impact support. This collaborative model enables me to scale up when needed—providing firms with the right mix of expertise for each engagement.
